Growing Up "Grown-Ups"
"Grown ups" are supposed to take care of themselves. As parents, "grown-ups" are to love and nurture their children, teaching them how to behave and learn; to always be there whenever and however a child needs them. Some grown-ups may feel they are lacking in providing all the parental nurturing... the giving of appropriate personal time, spending physical and emotional energies, providing security, shelter and comfort... all that's required of them.
For most adults, I believe we are sure of our responsibilities and …for the most part, we love being where we are, and in the roles we have chosen. Nevertheless, knowing who you are is a phase of maturity and wisdom. Sometimes, (for some) we may not always want to be 'grown-ups". Sometimes, we would rather forget about a lot of "stuff", and just go back to the time and space, when we didn't have to sacrifice or give our total attention, time and hard-work, in order to "make a living". We had (as youth), all the time in the world to ourselves. So, now that we find ourselves in a completely different role, we may have doubts about ourselves and others...those whom we live with and even those we don't live with, or actually (really) know. Sometimes grown-ups realize... that all they can be sure of... is that they're not sure. It helps to relinguish; take "time-out, and get away from it all.
Yes, grown-ups need their own (individual) space...away from the "hustle and bustle"; the demands of family, and expectations of friends and other people; time away from financial pressures and the rigorous time-consuming labors... that keeps us fed... and a roof over our heads. We all deserve that special time-out in our daily lives. Grown-ups need time to... just relax and hold on to the peace and tranquility of being still...and meditate on the Goodness and ever-present and all-conquering Love we have been given. It doesn't cost us anything, it's totally free...and it is replenishing and revitalizing. We should be open-minded, releasing all negativity ...letting only the Love of God and His comfort and strength be our resting place. It's so important and valuable to have a relationship with God. Without a true relationship with God, we grow tired and become irresponsible, negligent, or complacent, arrogant, self-righteous, and abusive...even more, we lose spiritual insight and our faith. So, just as much as we try to "work things out" on our own...we are likely to fail in our efforts and become frustrated...wishing we could "turn back the hands of time".
While some may withdraw, (physically and emotionally) it stunts growth (mentally and emotionally,) which hinders them in maturing into stable-minded adults. However, others will try to justify themselves in finding a reason for being withdrawn. Maybe they're content ....and thinking "I'm just being myself". However, as adults, when we try to "keep our distance" _from dealing with life's circumstances and challenges....before long we have to face them. It's just a matter of time. “Being myself" is a ‘self-taught’ frame of mind. It's not necessarily the best way we should be, at a certain time and place in our lives. We've become use to developing certain attitudes; to gain what we think is for our own good. We place ourselves above and beyond the reality of possibly being wrong, mistaken, or misunderstanding what really is best...for our own good. In other words, we try to make our lives be...what we believe is right. Often-times and exactly, we say, "I have to look-out for myself"; because we may not trust in nothing and no one else but ourselves. Sometimes, we may have good reason/s for not trusting in others (due to betrayal, lies, misunderstandings, etc.) Yet, we fail to realize that there is always The Source in life_ that we can always access for help. The Source of confidence, reassurance and of understanding (beyond our own)... that fulfills the emptiness, removes the doubts and answers all our questions. The Source that opens our eyes to see what we didn't even realize or recognize before. The Source is ‘revelation’….which is God....and comes to us in a very powerful, yet humbling way. God allows "His Wisdom" and "His Love" to be our teacher, admonisher, our disciplinarian, our conscious, our submission, our strength, our hope and inspiration. We no longer need to rely on the "ifs", "buts" and "maybes" to make our dreams come true. We no longer need to place our beliefs ...giving of our valuable time and works, and of our earnings…into the hands of the ‘Deceiver’. As God is ‘The Source of Life’...we can access all we have been given by ‘The Source’ that enriches our lives, renews our minds with Faith, and brings Joy to our everyday living. As we are growing in The Source (Godliness), we are Greater and Wiser… and we have a different kind of courage...in ourselves, in our associations and in all areas of our lives. We are motivated by the Spirit ...praying for the same Spiritual experience and blessings into the lives of our love-ones. Godly Will becomes the truest, most worthwhile desire of our hearts. Our conscience is renewed... seeking first the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness…(Matthew 6:33). and all these things will be added unto you” …according to God's Will. Our lives become much more pleasing and enjoyable... and we are able to smile...even when we’re use to being angry or sad. We are growing as "grown-ups". Now we can talk (testify) and walk (act) in a way that demonstrates what it truly means to "be myself", and do "the best I can". We worry less and care more. We love ourselves in the "right way"… and we offer the best for ourselves, as a parent, sister, brother, or friend, helping others in whatever way we can… as the Spirit (God) Wills. Being and living as the best “Grown-Up” is to have a steady (growing) relationship with God.
Prayer for our Youth; "Being myself" (in God)"; being REAL "Grown-Up". In this, we are honoring our creator (God) for His Will is the Best ... of BLESSINGS AND ABUNDANT LIFE. Let's Walk by ‘Faith’, Live in the ‘Light’, Listen to the ‘Voice’ and be ‘Doers’_ displaying our LOVE of GOD in our LIVING_ Grown-Up! Lord we thank you for blessing us with Your LOVE. Amen.

BBPA TALK 9/15/09
Hello to all! I'm having a real special kind of day. First of all, I want to say, I've just arrived home from the office. I jumped straight to my laptop to start '"all-over"_ writing what I earlier thought was a "wrap" for 'BBPA Talk' for today. What happened? Wow! I can hardly believe it...but it did happen. I in-advertantly pressed the "enter" key instead of the "save/update" key on my keyboard, and in a matter of seconds, the entire 'piece' I'd so joyfully and spiritually written was gone! I know...it's like some old cliche (from the old school)..."just too good to be true". But guess what; I'm determined to do it all again. (The "Adversary" will not destroy what the Spirit has wrought.) The only thing is that when you re-write anything, it's not exactly the same as the original. That's what I will have to concentrate on more-so, for....those exact words I'm eager to recall ...for such a time as this. I will always express what the Holy Spirit of God speaks to me> So, here it is_ now and where and how it is to be: For God knows I will stand, sit, lay down, stay awake all night getting this done. I don't want to rush to the end of the sentences this time. I pray to God to guide my fingertips to SAVE His Inspired Words to me today.
I like to say,....'Stop, Look and Listen,' and you will know...GOD IS SPEAKING TO US... AND REVEALING (THE HOLY SPIRIT) TO US....IN EVERY MINUTE, AND EVERY SECOND OF EVERY DAY. THE VOICE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT AND THE VISIONS OF GODLY LOVE, ARE ALL AROUND US... IF WE WILL "HAVE EYES TO SEE" AND "EARS TO HEAR".
Today I'm feeling an "LOL"... a whole "Lot of Love" is in the air! I just want to share with all who are here with me today. It is another beautiful day and extraordinary time to express JOY... of being Alive; to 'See the Day', to 'feel the Wondrous Love' and 'Amazing Grace of God.' Truly, every day is a 'Display of God'... in everything, and in everyplace... from the skies above to the depths of the ocean floor.
A day is as pure and new as the 'Word of God' speaks. What an awesome creator! God spoke... and now 'All is made Life.'...'Alive'. Life in this world ....a world God made for us...a world God loved so much, that HE blessed this world in the HIS OWN earthly body of (Jesus Christ). 'God Loves Us' so much that His own human-body (Jesus Christ-Son) would be born unto us as.... 'Our Saviour' and bare the 'Death' of mortal sin ... our sinful nature (John 3:16); that we may know of GOD's Awesome Power and Everlasting LOVE; God's Amazing and 'Saving Grace' unto His Love- (Us). A Grace that is sufficient; that no matter how much we may lack in anything or in any way; we have more than we can hold in a life-time_ with God's provisions. THE DIVINE LOVE that is manifested in the dawning of each New Day.
Yes, there are days when we are not persuaded_"not in touch" with our Lord and Saviour _ Jesus Christ. For many of us, we know better; we realize that we should have a 'real-relationship' with God, but for many reasons, we think we can face (handle) our personal situations; our angers, our fears, our struggles, our problems and/or life-altering decisions, without facing or embracing GOD "head-on". We try our way first...and when (not if) that doesn't work; well...."mmm, I guess" I'll give that spiritual belief, GODly-Faith thing a try". This is when we truly know that we are not capable to do what can only be done through 'Divine Intervention'. We should be grateful... for GOD is always... and has always been right where, when and how we need God to be.
Our God who is faithful, loving, for-giving, willing and able, to BE ALL for us_ above all others (doctors, teachers, lawyers, missionaries, politicians gurus; self-served doctrines(self-help books) and the disloyal establishments, (dis-believers) and proud debaters)etc. GOD is the Alpha and the Omega_the beginning and the end. No 'One' and no 'Thing' comes before nor after GOD. Therefore, in God we were pre-destined, to know HIM.... and the way to really know GOD is to accept GOD (LET GOD IN....on the Inside....into our hearts and minds and keep God right there, consistently, every day of lives. It is the way to having a 'True' relationship with GOD. A Godly relationship is to receive God (as in a holy matrimony)...to be our GREATEST LOVE... our constant Friend and Companion; our Reassurance, Advisor, Healer, Instructor; our Inspiration, our Confidant and Loyal Provider; our Redeemer and Keeper; our Greatest Faith, our Trustworthy and Divine Leader, our Guide ...thoughout the days of our lives, and even more...into the 'New Day'.
Jesus came to save the lost_ and raise the dead; give sight to the blind, feed the hungry, be a comforter to the weary, a burden-bearer, teach sinners about repentence, and of the merciful forgiveness...and the Everlasting Love of God. Jesus taught us how we should live, in what to 'Believe', and how to receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit ....through acts of Faith and Godly Love for one another. That is our first and greatest commandment...to Love one Another. When we accept the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ into our hearts and minds...we are born-again, set free to Love as God Loves. God's Love shines bright and gives us the strength to withstand during trials; we are able to endure to the end of our personal struggles. We are guided by the Light of God as it opens our eyes to 'See'_ giving us Wisdom in all matters of the heart and mind. We are Victorious!
As we remain steady; maintaining our relationship with God and being determined to follow where He leads (in other words, be obedient) we are exercising our Faith. Prayer and a daily dose of the life-giving Word of God, creates a Day that you will truly rejoice! What's so great and awesome about this brand new day....Now we know how to 'experience' each and every day to come! That's the way God intended this life to be ....every day!
A Day is new ....the Unconditional Love of God bestowed unto us all.....We can surely make it a Day to rejoice!_ or waste it away in our own selfishness and foolish desires. Let's Awake!.. to make the best of our Days... and spend them in the Way, the Truth and the Light of God.

BLESSED, HAPPY SUNDAY TO ALL MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS. PRAISE THE LORD ALWAYS!...FOR HIS MERCIES ARE NEW EVERY MORNING! I'M LISTENING TO ONE OF MY GOSPEL FAVORITES..."NEVER WOULD HAVE MADE IT" ~ BY MARVIN SAPP. IT STIRS THE SOUL, TOUCHES THE HEART, AND LIFTS THE SPIRIT! ALSO, JUST MAKES US REALIZE WE "CAN DO ALL THINGS....", (PHILLIPIANS. 4:13); JUST TRUSTING IN ‘THE WORDS’ AND OBEYING THE VOICE OF GOD. "IN ALL THY WAYS ACKNOWLEDGE HIM, AND HE SHALL DIRECT THY PATHS". (PROVERBS 3:6)
TO ALL OF YOU WHO KNOW ME PERSONALLY, YOU KNOW I LOVE THE HOLY SPIRIT AND ITS WORDS.....THE WORDS OF THE GOSPEL ARE SO AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL! THE WORD OF GOD IS ALIVE! JUST AS WE ARE THE LIVING BEINGS OF GOD'S LOVE....THE LOVE OF GOD MANIFESTED AND CREATED IN HIS OWN IMAGE ("MAN"). LET NO ONE TELL YOU THAT GOD IS NOT THE CREATER OF ALL THINGS. GOD IS LIFE AND ALL THINGS THAT EXIST THERE-IN. BECAUSE WE EXIST AND ARE ALIVE...WE ARE THE LIVING PROOF OF GOD. WE ARE HIS AND HE IS OURS ALWAYS...GIVEN THE GIFT OF ETERNAL LIFE; "FOR BY GRACE YOU HAVE BEEN SAVED THROUGH FAITH....IT IS A GIFT OF GOD." (EPHESIANS 2:8)...WE ARE RE-BORN INTO THE HOLY SPIRIT!
I TRULY GET "HIGH" ON THE WORDS OF THE GOSPEL. IT'S LIKE A BEAUTIFUL SONG, THE GREATEST HIT OF ALL TIMES! TRULY, THERE IS NO GREATER LOVE SONG OR MUSIC….THAN THESE WORDS! I ESPECIALLY WOULD ENCOURAGE YOU TO JUST LET GO AND DELVE INTO THE LETTERS WRITTEN BY THE GREAT APOSTLE PAUL!! WOW!...WHEN YOUR MIND IS OPEN TO RECEIVE...APOSTLE PAUL'S LETTERS WILL MAKE YOU BELIEVE....DO, SAY, REACT, LET GO, ACCEPT, TRUST, PROCLAIM, BE UN-ASHAMED, GLORIFY, WALK BODLY, SPEAK TRUTHFULLY,OPEN THE EYES TO SEE "A NEW THING"....INSPIRES CHANGE.....AND IS COVETED TO REJOICE! ...IN THE LOVE AND AMAZING LIFE OF CHRIST JESUS...NOW GIVEN TO US! “… AGAIN, I SAY REJOICE!" (PHILLIPIANS 4:4)
(Verse 6) “BE ANXIOUS FOR NOTHING, BUT IN EVERYTHING BY PRAYER AND SUPPLICATION, WITH THANKSGIVING, LET YOUR REQUESTS BE MADE KNOWN TO GOD; (Verse 7) AND THE PEACE OF GOD WHICH SURPASSES ALL UNDERSTANDING, WILL GUARD YOUR HEARTS AND MINDS, THROUGH CHRIST JESUS”. Continue with verse 8 and so on....***THIS IS SO ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! WHAT A GIFT TO LIFE WE HAVE IN GOD'S WORDS.***
YES, WE SHOULD BE EXCITED BY THE TRUTH AND HUMBLED BY GOD'S LOVE AND GRACE....OVER-JOYED IN GOD'S POWER, STRENGHT, ENCOURAGEMENT, PEACE AND REASSURANCE THAT COMES ....BY THE ONE AND ONLY LOVE...GOD (JESUS) OF ALL.!!
"THE JOY OF THE LORD IS MY STRENGTH!" THAT IS WHY I WILL ALWAYS CONTINUE TO PRAISE GOD ALL MY DAYS OF LIFE... EVERYWHERE THE SPIRIT LEADS ME. TRULY I HAVE MADE IT! BUT NOT WITHOUT GOD. WE CANNOT MAKE IT....OR RECEIVE HIS BLESSINGS, WITHOUT PUTTING GOD IN CHARGE; LETTING GO OF OUR OWN WAYS, AND ASKING THE LORD INTO OUR HEARTS AND MINDS, TO GUIDE US....TO PROTECT US; TO BE AS REVEALING TO US EACH DAY, THAT HIS WAY IS THE ONLY WAY... TO FIND WHAT WE ARE SEARCHING FOR....THE TRUTH THAT LEADS TO ETERNAL LIFE.
EVERYTHING GOD HAS MADE IS UNTO LOVE....WE ARE LOVED SO GREATLY,....SO GRACIOUSLY....LET US LOVE ONE ANOTHER, FULFULLING THE PURPOSE OF OUR BEING; AND IN LOVE WE HAVE ETERNAL LIFE ....GIVEN THROUGH THE BLOOD SACRIFICE OF OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST!
I WILL BE FOREVER IN LOVE ...WITH THIS I AM LIVING TO LOVE AS (GOD) JESUS LOVES US. FOR LOVE IS THE WAY....INTO A NEW DAY....THE DAY OF REDEMPTION...OF RESURRECTION....THE DAY OF EVERLASTING LIFE AND PEACE. "AND WHATEVER YOU DO IN WORD OR DEED, DO ALL IN THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS, GIVING THANKS TO GOD THE FATHER THROUGH HIM" (JESUS) (Colossians 3:17).
JESUS IS THE BEST THAT HAS EVER HAPPENED TO US!
