<><><><><><><><><><> The Blessing of Friendship <><><><><><><><><><>

Friendship

Friendships are made of humble encounters and kindred spirits. They are not planned…but rather engaged by meetings; some at unexpected times and places.  A mere glance and a “hello”, spoken with a smile that somehow says, “Let’s get to know each other better.”

Not knowing what the future may bring, we are inspired by the unknown, and faith keeps us believing our friendships have come a long way, and we know we have grown.

Perfect friends are willing to allow us to be who we are, and are with us through the tests of time.  They are a reflection of true love, which has no need for expectations; but gives joy, peace, comfort and encouragement when needed.

Our minds may not always agree…but in our hearts we know that we have true friends; and it makes the heart fulfilled.  The greatest gift in life is to love and be loved by a real friend. God wanted us to know what friendship really means…so he brought us together.

Let’s keep looking towards the light, that we see the direction we should go.  We know God has surely made a way, and if we seek that first, which is already there, the rest will follow.

As we come and go...no matter how near or far,

The memories may fade…the longer the days.  But friendship remains in the heart forever.
